Cambridge Border Collie Puppy Male for sale in Alabaster, Alabama

Cambridge's story
Meet Cambridge! Cambridge (Cam) and his siblings arrived in rescue the day of the Royal Wedding, so they have been dubbed the Royal Collies!
Cam is 8-9 weeks old and we believe to be a Border Collie/Flat Coated Retriever mix (only a DNA test can tell for sure). We estimate he will be medium sized as an adult, around 40lbs. This puppy has a lifetime of love to give!
Cam has started his puppy shots and dewormings. He must finish his vetting under a neuter contract at our vet. He is ready to bond with his family until his scheduled appointment on 6/20/18 (LOCAL ADOPTION ONLY).
How to adopt this dog:
We are not a shelter. Dogs live in Birmingham Metro area foster homes.
1. Email were4dogs@gmail.com for an application.
2. Tell us the NAME of the dog you wish to adopt.
3. Send back your application ASAP. We cannot hold dogs/puppies.
4. After the application review and reference check, someone will call you for a phone interview. You will learn more about the dog, it's health and habits, and we'll schedule a home visit or an adoption at that time.
5. Adoption fee ($250) is due when you take possession of your new friend.
6. Adoption fees are in Cash, MO, or cashiers check. No personal checks please.
7. Adoption contract is signed when the fee is paid, usually when we bring your new dog, unless you are out of the area.
8. Long distance possible with dogs over 12 weeks old that are fully vetted. Occasionally we will allow small breeds to adopt to their homes, but they must keep their local vet appointment when they are old enough and big enough for surgery.
ADOPTION INCLUDES:
All dogs have age appropriate vaccines, Rabies, Bordetella, females are spayed, males are neutered, dewormed, flea/tick prevention, microchipped, heartworm prevention and  heartworm treatment if necessary in adults. Your best friend comes to you with his/her medical records.
Please expect to crate or paper train your puppy under 6 months old. Our fosters have homes, families, jobs, pets, and some foster a large number of dogs to give them refuge and we are grateful. Consistency is your best tool when training your new companion animal. Doggy Day Out, dog parks, lots of socializing to people, pets, and places will help to have a well rounded and easy going dog.
